Mimi is e-RYT 500-Hour certified Yoga Alliance, USA, Continuing Education Provider, who loves teaching yoga asana, anatomy and physiology and lifestyle. She is co-founder of Swadhyaya Yoga School and is a lead teacher for this course.

Brianna is a Certified Nutritional Practitioner, 500-Hour certified yoga instructor and founder of Well Daily. She believes that wellness should be accessible and integrated into our everyday lives. She is a lead teacher for this course.
Deepa Lakhyani Kukreti
Deepa received her post graduate diploma from the prestigious Kaivalyadhama Lonvala a college of experiential yoga where yoga tradition and yoga science meet. She is a co-founder of Swadhyaya Yoga School and is a lead teacher for this course.

Surya is a lover of knowledge and spent the last three years in Rishikesh, India, pursuing that passion and studying the Vedas in an ashram. He currently leads mantra and satanga in the foothills of the Himalayas in Rishikesh, India.
Pawan Kumar
Religious yet modern in his approach, Pavan grew up in a traditional South Indian family. Under his mother’s guidance, he read many scriptures at an early age, which lay the foundation for his spiritual progress. He is the Ayurveda teacher for this course.

Sumit practiced the Ashtanga Primary series tirelessly until mastery. Thereafter, he studied at Ashtanga in Mysore and Iyengar Props Yoga in Pune. He is a dedicated Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga practitioner. He is the Ashtanga teacher for this course.

Practice Teaching
Hatha yoga is a branch of yoga derived from one of the six schools of Hinduism. It is the science of yoga which purifies the whole physical body by means of shatkarma (six cleansing practices), asana (postures), pranayama (breathing practices), mudra (seals), bandha (locks) and concentration, as a prelude to raja (or kingly) yoga and samadhi (higher state of awareness commonly referred to as “bliss”). All of which are explored during your teacher training program in various forms.
Yes. You will be qualified to teach beginner to intermediate level practitioners upon completion of your 200-hour training. You will be qualified to teach all levels of practitioners after your 300- and/or 500-hour registered yoga teacher training course. Your ability to teach will be reinforced by your commitment to your personal practice and continued self-study.
No. Registration with the Yoga Alliance is not mandatory. However, many gyms and larger studios do look for Yoga Alliance registration as a standard because of their ethical commitment to yoga and as an accountability component.
The Yoga Alliance is the largest nonprofit association representing the yoga community. Their mission is to promote and support the integrity and diversity of the teaching of yoga through various initiatives. Swadhyaya Yoga School School is Registered with the Yoga Alliance.
